Pink October @ ISP is an annual school event in recognition of Cancer Awareness Month. The PTA @ ISP started the ball-rolling with a health talk for parents by Dr Evelyn Ho, who emphasised on the screening and awareness of breast cancer. Friday 10th October 2014, designated as ‘Pink Friday’, was a day when all students, parents and staff wore pink ribbons and dressed in pink to commemorate the occasion. The Year 10 and Year 11 students organised a ‘bake sale’ which raised more than RM 7,000 for MAKNA, the National Cancer Council of Malaysia. Pink Friday was concluded with a memorable assembly led by the Student Council @ ISP who summarised the day’s events, and included a visit from The Band of the Parachute Regiment from United Kingdom. We are very thankful to everyone at ISP who has contributed to Pink October so far as we strive to support others in the community who are less fortunate than ourselves.
It is a privilege and a great honour to be the first Principal to lead this prestigious and unique school into an exciting and successful future. As Principal, my mission is to work with the community to provide high quality education, set high and achievable expectations, and create a safe school where every child is treated as an individual. Together, we strive to achieve our shared vision of establishing The International School @ ParkCity as ‘Malaysia’s premier international school by offering excellence in the academic sphere, on the sporting field, in the arts and beyond’.
The International School @ ParkCity is unique in its setting and convenient location. We offer an appropriate and challenging programme of study, broadly based upon the National Curriculum for England, whilst incorporating the flexibility to effectively respond to global change. More details of the curriculum that we follow can be found on the Curriculum tab of the website.
Our robust academic programme is supported by a strong pastoral system, which nurtures and enables each student to achieve their maximum potential. In addition to the wide range of after-school activities, we have a House system that encourages healthy competition between students at all levels.
The International School @ ParkCity is a place where internationally-minded and culturally aware students are encouraged to pursue both academic excellence and personal development, thus enabling them to take a leading role in tomorrow’s ever-changing global community. We ensure that all children are fully aware of their social responsibility by including global awareness issues as a prominent part of the programme of study. Through the partnership of child, parent, school and community, we do and will make a real difference.
I hope that this website allows you to enter our world and raise the levels of excitement of what we have to offer. In the meantime, please do not hesitate to contact our friendly admissions staff at firstname.lastname@example.org if you would like more information about the school or how to enrol your child.
I assure you that you will not be disappointed by what The International School @ ParkCity can offer your family. May I close by saying that any contact that you make with us, or future visits, will be embraced and valued with the sensitivity, informality and warmth that has become our trademark.
